Greetings from Kobe, Japan! I had an amazing workshop with the Hamoru Kobe Mixed Choir and Choir Lalula last night. We managed to finish a Filipino song, Caturog na Nonoy, in just three readings. How amazing is that?! Special thanks to Masahiro-San for having me over and ensuring my stay in Kobe was wonderful, despite the typhoon (which never affected the city, thank God) Until we meet again!
After visiting Kobe, I traveled to Tokyo and then to Kawaguchiko, a charming lakeside town set against the breathtaking backdrop of Mt. Fuji. Beyond taking in Japan’s iconic sights, the evening was made even more memorable with music and good food in the company of Scatola di Voce. Arigatou gozaimasu, Yusuke Morita-san, for having me over—it was such a pleasure hearing your wonderful choir! Until we meet again!
