Overjoyed. Grateful. Honored. My latest piece "Amihan" won 1st place at the 2022 Busan Choral Festival & Composition Competition. Delighted to share that it's my first work with a text that I've written. Thanks to this competition, it forced me to finish my poem that took several months in the making .
Still on a high from the awarding ceremony and the happenings at the 2022 Busan Choral Festival and Competition last Saturday. Thank you God for granting me this blessing and opportunity. Congratulations to all the Filipino choirs who joined the festival especially to Sir Mark and the Sing Philippines Youth Choir for bagging 2nd place Mixed Category and Tristan Ignacio and Imusicapella, 3rd place Mixed category and for premiering the winning work Amihan , and to Villanueva Chorale for winning 1st Prize at the Pop Category.
Salamat Panginoon! Para sa Dios at sa Bayan! Mabuhay ang Pilipinas ! Mabuhay ang Koristang Pinoy TO GOD BE THE GLORY!

Post opening concert night with the Swingles. Definitely made the night even more special after they sang Ili-Ili (my arrangement) as their last encore.
Post concert catch up with them and THE Bob Chilcott - starstruck! From Bogota - Manila - Vaison la Romaine - Busan - such a delight to hear and hang again with these awesome friends after 5 years!! See you all soon and I hope our meeting won't be a Fibonacci Sequence
